Gay Rights - Yesterday evening, prompted by a Fox News segment, we posted the following post about gay rights on our official Naturist Portal Site Facebook Page Wall:

We at FKK want to abolish the term union from the legislators' vocabulary! Civil unions only!
Marriage is a spiritual term only!

Gay Rights

Great question! For years, I personally have been urging for this fresh way of gay rights and marriage. Based on my world view, which is also part of the FKK philosophy, there should be a clear cut differentiation between church and state. The occupation of the government is always to take care of its citizens - all of them! "We are all created equal" aren't merely words, they're a value system which has to be carried on.
Now, when folks wish to be recognized as an "official" couple, they get "married." What I am proposing is straightforward - states should issue only civil marriage certifications.
If people want a piece of paper that uses the term "Union," they should only be able to get it from a spiritual institution.
Words mean a lot and their significance can stir up much emotion.
Spiritual associations are like private organizations. But a government should be a place where all law-abiding citizens are treated equally regardless of race, religion, sexuality and so on.
By eliminating the term union we remove religion from the process. Spiritual institutions will no longer be able to to claim that gay rights are, in some way, infringing on their religious beliefs or morals. It changes the piece of paper from being a spiritual one to a completely secular one.
Gay Rights Post Opinion / Questions #2:
"You do not have to have a civil union and gay to be fkk so why talk about it on here? Maybe safer to say about nude marriages and nude freedom and top freedom."
Nudist Portal is not just about nudism or "bare recreation." There are other organizations that are entirely focused on the nudity. FKK is focused on the individual in addition to the core social issues that we consider need to be addressed. Gay rights are one issue that we've a problem with. Governments should not be looking at what an individual's sexual preferences are. All authorities should look at is a man's history as a citizen.
For us, the social nudity is more of a means to an end. A method to break down societal barriers and encourage recognition.
